Morristown High ended its season on the short end of a 27-17 consolation game at West Orange on Saturday.  But there were some bright spots for the Colonials (3-7) football varsity.

Sophomore southpaw Pat Meringolo,  filling in for injured quarterback Cam Boswell, connected with senior Jahmar Gregory for a 45-yard touchdown.

Senior Justin Contreras registered the final touchdown of his high school career, and senior Ethan Bolson split the uprights from 30 yards out for his final field goal wearing white-and-maroon.

Best of luck to all the graduating Colonials, and to all the players who will return in 2016.

And our special thanks to Tim Heaton, Randi Unger and David Bolson for their great coverage all season long!
