That blur you saw on the streets of Morristown on Wednesday night was no optical illusion.

It was Team Jamis Hagens Berman, a pro cycling team, leading some avid bikers on a “leisurely” sprint from Marty’s Reliable Cycle on Speedwell Avenue.

The team is ranked No. 1 on the UCI America Tour, after a strong showing at the Philadelphia International Cycling Classic, reports Bill Guild of Jamis Bicycles in Northvale.

For the record, team members are:

Luis Amaran – Cuba
Sebastian Haedo – Argentina
Daniel Jaramillo – Colombia
David Williams – USA
Stephen Leece – USA
Gaston Trillini – Argentina
Team Director Sebastian Alexandre and Team Soigneur Felix Fariña also were along for the ride.
Our thanks to MorristownGreen.com contributor Katharine Boyle for making everyone hold still long enough for a few photos.
