The Presbyterian Church in Morristown continues to host Holy Week events.  A list of event and details are listed below.  All services events and services as Holy Week 2015 services are located in the church sanctuary and Chapel located at 57 East Park Place, Morristown, NJ (on the Green.)

The Last Supper

8:00 p.m. Sanctuary
In commemoration of the Last Supper of our Lord, we celebrate Communion together. Music provided by the Chancel Choir. 

Good Friday, April 3
The Crucifixion of Jesus
12:00 (Chapel) and 8:00 p.m. 
At noon: A somber, reflective service with music provided by a small ensemble. At 8: A Tenebrae service of darkness and light with music provided by the Chancel Choir.

Easter Sunday, April 5
Resurrection of the Lord
7:45 a.m. (Chapel) and 10 a.m. holy week
At 7:45: A sunrise service. At 10: A celebration of the Resurrection led by the Reverends Dr. David Smazik and Sarah Green. Music provided by vocal choirs of all ages featuring an instrumental ensemble with brass, percussion and harp; the Chancel Choir presents choral portions of Mahler’s Symphony #2 (Resurrection Symphony), directed by Matthew Webb.

The Chancel Choir with organ, brass, harp and percussion perform Gustav Mahler’s Resurrection Symphony as part of Easter worship. Conducted by Matthew Webb.
