How healthy are our oceans?  And what’s the prognosis for the rest of the planet?

Oceanographer Sylvia Earle should have plenty to say on these subjects, at a free Earth Day lecture at the Mayo Performing Arts Center on April 22, 2015.

The 8 pm talk is sponsored by BASF.

Earle, the National Geographic Society Explorer-in-Residence, has been called “Her Deepness” by The New Yorker and The New York Times, “Living Legend” by the Library of Congress, and “First Hero for the Planet” by TIME magazine.

MPAC members and subscribers can reserve tickets now at MayoArts.org or by calling the box office at 973-539-8008.

There is a limit of four tickets per person. First come, first served. All tickets will be held at the MPAC Box Office, and must be picked up prior to Saturday, April 19.  All unclaimed tickets will be returned for public distribution at that time.  If you know in advance that you cannot attend, please call the MPAC Box Office so your tickets can be redistributed.
