Last month’s Morristown’s Got Talent show raised more than $70,000 for programs in the Morris School District, according to the Morris Educational Foundation.

It’s the second straight year that the show has topped that figure.

“Thank you to all of the performers, sponsors, judges, playbill advertisers and audience members for making the evening memorable.  We are proud to bring our community together to celebrate the talented people who live, work and go to school here,” Molly Servais, chair of the MEF, said in a statement.

Winners of the eighth annual talent contest, held at the Mayo Performing Arts Center,  were poet Ally Are (adult division), the band FAB 3 (youth division) and the SteppingSTONE Band (audience choice).
