What is the state of feminism in 2015?

Some experts will have a go at that one in Morristown on March 16, 2015, to mark Women’s History Month.

Feminism Unfinished, a presentation of the League of Women Voters of the Morristown Area, will explore the political fate of the Equal Rights Amendment,  Millennial views of gender equality, and how to incorporate feminist perspectives into higher education.

Panelists are:

  • Roberta Francis, co-chair of the ERA Task Force of the national Council of Women’s Organizations and former director of the New Jersey Division of Women.
  • Wendy Kolmar, professor of English and Women’s and Gender Studies at Drew University.
  • Stacey Faella, program manager of the Woodcock Foundation and chair of the Young People’s Network.

The 7:30 pm talk is free, at the Presbyterian Parish House on 65 South St. Light refreshments will be served.
