A water main break near the Frelinghuysen Middle School prompted an early dismissal on Friday, at 1:05 pm.
Schools cannot stay open without water, said a spokesperson for the Morris School District.
It’s the second time during this frigid winter that a water break has disrupted classes. Last month, a burst pipe at the Thomas Jefferson School sent pupils to the Woodland School for a day.
