You should be dancing, yeah You should be dancing, yeah. One more time. You should be dancing, yeah.  Who knew how relevant the Bee Gees’ 1976 hit would be, come 2015?

For all who want to dance in the New Year, First Night Morris 2015 is the place to do it. From square dancing to salsa, Morristown is your dance floor this New Year’s Eve.

Mary calls a varied dance program including reels, line, circle and square dancing, to western, jazz and Broadway tunes. Cowboys of all ages are welcome.

For those seeking a more intense dance experience, swing by the MHS auditorium for the 9:45 pm or 11 pm performances by dance crew Galumpha. Martha Graham believed that dance is the hidden language of the soul. The Shubanjali Dance Company shares a similar belief. Through dance, the Shubanjali performers aim to communicate culture, technique and music. Appreciate the beauty of Indian classical dance upstairs at the Presbyterian Parish House, 65 South St. The first show is at 7:15 pm, followed by an 8:15 performance.

The Redhawk Dance Troupe interprets social, traditional, and contemporary Native American dances. This group has performed for the President, and on national TV. Learn about our cultural heritage at the Church of the Redeemer Parish House, 36 South St., at 9:45 and 10:45 pm.
