Police will contact Karen, who will contact the owners.
The one-car accident occurred shortly before 7 pm on Thanksgiving, on Ridgedale Avenue off the Abbett Avenue/Ridgedale Avenue ramp from southbound Route 287.
Ridgedale and Abbett intersection close to the exit ramp where the accident occurred.
There was another siting of Rogue on Ridgedale today around 3 pm. She is staying in the area near the accident. Please keep looking for Rogue. We were just informed that someone saw Rogue get hit by a car the day of the car accident (Thanksgiving night). She is obviously not too hurt if she has been able to travel some distance for this long.
Owner and I searched Morristown for hours. Dog is alive. Someone spotted the dog around 4 pm today.
Is the owner walking around the area with the pitbull? Could help draw Rogue out
Staples address: 30 Lafayette Ave. Morristown
Everyone, Morris County Communications just called. There was a siting near the Staples by the Hollows. I’m going to be dropping off flyers soon. Please keep looking. Owner just picked up the pitbull from my office.
Rogue is a young, female black and white Boston Terrier.
The owner states the dog is microchipped.
I am the animal control officer working up this case. Sasha the pitbull is being returned to the owners today. We are still looking for Rogue the Boston Terrier.
