The Morristown Neighborhood House  drew nearly 200 people to its annual gala last week, grossing $115,000 to benefit its programs, said a spokesperson for Cornerstone Family Programs, parent organization of the Nabe.

Calvary Baptist Church was honored as the community partner of the year, and Gerald Marcus, chairman of the Nabe board when it merged with Cornerstone, was named volunteer of the year.

The audience at the Hyatt Morristown was entertained by singers, dancers and guitarists from the Nabe.  Area merchants and organizations filled several tables with gifts and services that were auctioned.

The Neighborhood House has been helping immigrants and working class families since 1898.
