UPDATE: As of 11:15 am, JCP&L says power has been restored. No cause was cited for the outage.
Jersey Central Power & Light is dispatching crews to deal with an outage affecting 625 customers in Morristown, a spokesman said.
The power went out at 9:40 am on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, said Jerry Ricciardi. He had no further details.
JCP&L’s online outage map showed Skyline Drive, near the Morris Township border, as the affected area and estimated restoration of service by noon.
