Hospital donates life-saving gear to Morris Township fire department

Atlantic Health, the parent of Morristown Medical Center, has donated an automatic external defibrillator to the Morrris Township fire department.

“We are fortunate to have Atlantic Health be part of the Morris Township Community and are grateful to Mr. Robinson for the donation of this valuable lifesaving device,” Mayor Bruce Sisler said in a statement, after receiving the equipment from Alan Robinson, director of protection and security services for Atlantic Health.

Atlantic Health’s corporate headquarters and medical offices are in the Township.

Fire Chief Scott Lovenberg, Firefighter Daniel Goss, Committeeman and Fire Commissioner Daniel Caffrey and Daniel Nunn, an employee of Atlantic Health and a member of the fire department, also were present at the recent ceremony.
