No Civil War battles were fought in New Jersey.
Until last weekend.
The Second New Jersey Brigade took over Historic Speedwell in Morristown on Saturday and Sunday and engaged some Rebel re-enactors in a skirmish that looked all too real, according to these photos by MG contributor Jeff Sovelove.
The soldiers certainly seemed authentic…but we’re glad their ammunition was not.
