As of 6:15 am EDT on Saturday, June 21, 2014, it’s summertime in Greater Morristown.

Which begs the question: Whatever happened to springtime?

Mother Nature never grants do-overs.  The best we can do is offer this springy tune from Julie Gold (From a Distance). She served it with a smile at the Folk Project’s Acoustic Getaway last month.

Another folksy festival is coming this fall; we will find a suitable summer song to mark that occasion. But first, Uke New Jersey Too, the second annual celebration  of all things ukulele, heads to The Minstrel in Morris Township on Aug. 29-31.
