Lawyers hired by New York Jets defensive coordinator Dennis Thurman contend the coach is innocent of any wrongdoing last month at Pazzo Pazzo in Morristown, where a Morris Township woman alleged that he slapped her.

Morristown police confirmed that the woman spoke with them after the alleged incident, which she claimed occurred on the patio of the Speedwell Avenue restaurant on May 14, 2014.  The woman did not file a complaint, according to police.
