Summer means outdoor music, and Morris Township has lined up plenty of it, starting with a 7 pm concert by the Heart of Gold band at Ginty Field on June 17, 2014.
Bring lawn chairs or beach blankets for an evening of classic covers of such rock favorites as Steely Dan, David Bowie, Yes, Peter Frampton, Elton John, the Rolling Stones, the Grateful Dead and Led Zeppelin.
The music continues on summer Tuesdays:
June 24: The Kootz
July 8: Hanover Wind Symphony
July 15: Moonlighters Swing Band
July 23: Mid-Life Crisis
July 30: United States Army Field Band & Soldiers Chorus
Aug. 5: Aftermath
The series is presented by the township Parks and Recreation Department and Provident Bank, a sponsor for nine years.
