Morristown’s annual spring cleanup is pro-active, as well as re-active.
On Saturday we found a volunteer crew at Miller Road and Macculloch Avenue cleaning and marking storm drains — with stenciled warnings not to dump wastes in there. Storm sewers drain into local streams and rivers, after all.
Kudos to Alberto Castano, 15, of Teen Pride Inc., and Teen Pride Coordinator Al Graves; volunteer Richard Ray of Morristown Clean Communities; Morristown Beard student Dylan Iuzzolino, 16; Anthony De Vizio, from the town engineering division, and everybody who pitched in to make the town sparkle.
Thanks to each and everyone who worked on Saturday to help keep Morristown clean and beautiful.
Our volunteers are the best!
Thank you Morristown Green for the wonderful coverage of the annaul Clean Up!
Great to see so many volunteers working together for Morristown spring cleaning. Bob Parker and neighbors on Hillcrest Ave did a superb job of cleaning up the new open space property on Hillcrest Ave in Morristown. Great way to meet the neighbors, make new friends and achieve the goal of a cleaner Morristown! 🙂
