A year and a half ago, Superstorm Sandy damaged or destroyed over 346,000 homes in New Jersey – 22,000 were declared uninhabitable.
With the passage of time, we assume things get back to normal and we can move on. But that has not happened.
Come to a Soup and Salad Dinner on April 24, 2014, at 6:30 pm at the Parish House of The Presbyterian Church in Morristown (65 South St.) to hear Bob and Pam Vasquez of Union Beach tell of their house disintegrating under their feet, the harrowing, multi-hour crossing through water over their heads to a neighbor’s house, and how this frightful journey strengthened their faith.
