Here is a video preview of the seventh annual Morristown’s Got Talent! show–the Hollywood Edition–through the lens of Morristown High School sophomore Abby Semple, winner of last summer’s MorristownGreen.com Film Festival.
Tickets for the Feb. 26, 2014, talent contest are on sale now, and at the Mayo Performing Arts Center box office (973-539-8008). Prices are $25, $50 and $75. Proceeds support programs of the Morris Educational Foundation, benefiting students from Morristown, Morris Township and Morris Plains. Last year’s show raised more than $50,000.
Sixteen acts , chosen from more than 70 entries, are vying for a $1,000 top prize and bragging rights as Greater Morristown’s top amateur act. Tara Bernie, senior producer of NBC’s Access Hollywood, brings red-carpet glamor as this year’s emcee.
