Help Change the Course of Cancer by Joining

The Relay For Life of Greater Morristown Planning Committee

The American Cancer Society is gearing up for the annual Relay For Life of Greater Morristown! We are looking for passionate leaders, residents and employees of Morristown, Morris Plains, Morris Township, Hanover Township & Convent Station to help organize the 2014 event.

Assistance is needed in a variety of areas including Publicity, Recruitment, Sponsorship, Logistics and Survivorship. Anybody – youth, young professionals, adults, etc. – with a specialty and a passion for the cause are welcome!

The Planning Committee will meet in the Morristown area once per month from February 2014 through June 2014. The event will be held on June 13th at Mennen Sports Arena in Morristown, NJ. Relay offers volunteers the opportunity to let your talents shine while helping to save lives and improve the lives of those facing cancer. The funds raised from Relay provide the Greater Morristown area with education, research, programs and services.

Relay For Life is a life-changing event. It is an overnight, non-competitive, relay-style walk in which teams of people take turns circling a track to raise funds and awareness for our fight against cancer. It is an opportunity to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost and fight back against the disease that has taken so much.

Interested people should contact Brandie Engelberger, Special Events Manager at brandie.engelberger@cancer.org or 973-285-8029.  For more information about Relay For Life, visit our website at www.RelayForLife.org/MorristownNJ.
