Still wondering how the Affordable Care Act works?
Stop by Morristown town hall tonight, Oct. 16, 2013, at 6 pm for a presentation by former state Commissioner of Health & Senior Services, Dr. Poonam Alaigh, now with Atlantic Health Systems; and Lisa Narcise of Brown & Brown Small Employer Health Insurance.
The talk, presented by Mayor Tim Dougherty, will be in the council chambers.
While across the country there are states resisting efforts to provide information to residents about opportunities to gain insurance under the Affordable Care Act, and New Jersey’s state government is, unfortunately, not doing much to help in this regard, the town of Morristown is undertaking it’s own effort and demonstrating what a difference a town can make! Mayor Dougherty is holding this special event to inform residents of Morristown about healthcare reforms and opportunities available under the Affordable Care Act, just as some folks in Washington are trying to prevent funding it and shutting down the government to get their way!
