Sunday was a day for watercolors.

Because that’s what you would have gotten if you displayed your paintings on Morristown’s drizzly sidewalks without plastic protection.

Maryann Didriksen seemed to manage well enough, outside of the Strawberry Fields frozen yogurt shop for the second annual Morristown Art Walk.

Many of the other 69 or so artists showed their works indoors, at spaces like Central Property Realtors and Peter Dorne’s architectural office.

“This is great!” said Morristown resident Bob Parker, who checked out several sites.

The event was organized by Julie Friedman of the ArtSpace gallery  and Kadie Dempsey of Morris Arts.
