Sort through the myths and misconceptions surrounding human trafficking, at a panel discussion hosted by the Morristown Area League of Women Voters on October 8, 2013, from 7 pm to 9 pm.

It’s in the Morristown High School Auditorium, at 50 Early St., Morristown.

league of women voters logoThe panelists will describe how children from all walks of life can fall victim to predators who deal in human trafficking, considered one of the fastest-growing crimes in New Jersey.

Panelists include FBI Special Agent Brian Salamone; Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Detective Marshall Wang; Deirdre’s House Executive Director Maria Vinci Savettiere, Esq.; and Leaguw moderator and vice president of programs, Louise Murray, Ph.D.

They will inform parents and educators about how to protect young people from all walks of life from falling victim to human trafficking.
