“Animal Connections: Our Journey Together,” an exciting interactive exhibit that explores the complex bond between humans and animals, comes to Fosterfields’ 1920s Country Fair on Sept. 8, 2013.
Created with the intention of inspiring the next generation of veterinarians, this free exhibition that is touring the country uses a dynamic combination of interactive learning situations, films, touch-screen videos, and three-dimensional settings to explore topics about animals in the home, on the farm, in the wild, at the zoo and in the veterinary clinic.
It’s all contained in a high-tech 18-wheel truck, sponsored by The Smithsonian, the American Veterinarian Medical Association and Zoetis. Fosterfields Living Historical Farm is at 73 Kahdena Road in Morris Township.
