Join us this Sunday, August 25, at 10 a.m., in the Sanctuary of The Presbyterian Church in Morristown, 57 East Park Place,  for Community Worship shared with the Morristown United Methodist Church.  The Reverend Dr. Neill Tolboom, pastor of the Methodist Church, will deliver the sermon entitled, “Judging and Condemning vs Giving and Forgiving”.   There will be a Time for Young Christians during the service.  Child care is available at Howard House, next door to the church.

We have some exciting programs starting in September at The Presbyterian Church in Morristown!  Our fall Bible Study,  sponsored by Presbyterian Women and led by Mikey Knotts, begins on Saturday morning  September 7, at 9 a.m., at the PCM Parish House, 65 South St.  An Abiding Hope is the message of the study which focuses on migration as it is understood through Exodus and Deuteronomy.  Everyone is welcome, not just PW or women! You are welcome to attend any or all classes. The morning includes a light breakfast.

Join us for Rally Day, a community welcome parade and picnic, on Sunday, September 8.  We start with worship in the PCM Sanctuary, 57 East Park Place, at 10 a.m., then parade over to our Parish House at 65 South Street at 11 a.m.  This year’s parade will be led by the kazoo-playing Shriners Clown unit.  Everyone is invited for “clowning around”, music, juggling and food!

Wednesdays explode with fun, education, and music for the PCM Children and Youth programs, officially known as W!, starting on September 11, at 4 p.m.  Children, from age 4 through grade 5, enjoy a supervised time of fun and music with the option of having dinner with their families on Wednesday afternoons from 4:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Parish House, 65 South Street.  We offer fun, educational activities and vocal and bell choir rehearsals in one of three children’s choirs: JAM, Bel Melodia and Bel Canto.

Middle school youth, grades 6-8, gather for Ekklesia on Wednesday afternoons from 4:00-6:00 p.m.  They enjoy high-energy games in the gym followed by a relevant teaching in the youth room and dinner.  Afterward, students have the option of staying for Tower Ringers and Singers’ choir rehearsal in the parlor from 6:00-7:00 p.m.  High school youth gather for Koinonia on Wednesday afternoons from 5:30-7:15 p.m. They enjoy dinner, gym activities and relevant teaching.  They have the option of staying for the vocal ensemble, Cantus, from 7:15-8:30 p.m.

As always, our youth program will include dinner, but we are now offering a Family Dinner option for younger participants and their guardians.  Anyone who wishes to stay for dinner may do so any given week.
