The ladies at Grow It Green Morristown are recruiting members for their fencing team.

Think ploughshares, not swords.

This week Grow It Green is installing new fences at the Urban Farm at Lafayette, for an expansion that will double the size of the teaching farm.

So grab some garden gloves and a water bottle and head over to 31 Hazel Street if you have some spare time.  The action will kick into high gear on Saturday, July 20, 2013, from 8 am to 2 pm. From the ladies:

“Bring the kids, stay an hour or all day.  We will be putting chicken wire around the perimeter to keep the groundhogs out, moving the chickens into a larger pen, tilling, building bed frames and more.  Bring a water bottle and a staple gun!”
