Hey everybody!   We had an amazing ride down to Topsail Beach NC, and it is one of the nicest places I’ve been in a long time with my awesome youth group.

Spent the majority of the ride down riding shotgun in the cargo van exchanging stories with Stumpy (aka Eric Meyer, aka Humpy as blessed by Melissa, the kids loved that).

Us chaperones make a great team, and I feel blessed being able to work with them on this trip.  Smooth beginning, we spent a relaxing night with Essex Fells at Richmond St. Stephen’s Church, along with a uniting and fulfilling worship at 8 am.

The trip so far. Please click icon below for captions.

Another smooth ride down to NC, with Mufasa (aka Andy Scott) taking the lead spiriting us down Rt. 95 with vigor.

It’s a bit muggy here in NC, with occasional rain, but we still managed an awesome beach trip throwing around the football. Water’s nice, and perhaps surfing before the end of the week! Hey it is Surf City… we’ll see about that, because we have a lot of good work to do in this town.  Can’t wait! Talk to you next time.
