Here are more impressions from the Youth Group from St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, which has ventured from Morristown to Topsail, N.C., for its annual mission trip.

Today we had to wake up very early to go to the 8 o’clock service. I knew we had a long day ahead of us so I didn’t laze around. I was one of the first to be ready and packed.

After the church service we started driving to Topsail Beach. After driving with our chosen groups we switched some of the people in the vans.

At times it was really quiet with everyone sleeping and the other times the girls were singing loudly. When we finally got to the place where we are staying I felt relieved that we didn’t have to drive anymore.

I started playing basketball, and we went to the beach a few minutes later and had a lot of fun with everyone. After we came back from the beach we went to the restaurant we ate at last year (Andy’s Burgers, Shakes & Fries in Surf City), which has amazing burgers and phenomenal milkshakes.

The trip so far. Please click icon below for captions.

Finally we went to chapel and instantly I saw a difference  from last year, and there was a sign of hope that this year could be even better than last year.
