Personally, I’m pretty excited about the Cinnamon Snail. Vegan or not, foodies of all stripes will be impressed by their offerings. Award winning could be a serious understatement.

Listed at #8 on Yahoo’s ’10 Best Food Trucks in America’, the Cinnamon Snail picked up the 2012 Vendy Award, Mobile Cuisine magazine’s ‘America’s Favorite Vegetarian Food Truck’ and placed first on Best of Yelp NYC Restaurant List of 2012. Phew. That was a mouthful.

Still doubting you’ll have a great time?

Take your cues from Debbie Gottsleben, past food truck partier, ‘I had so much fun last year. I didn’t know how many people were going to turn up so I was shocked when it turned out to be a joyous neighborhood, actually town-wide block party. I met new neighbors, people from other parts of town. The food from the food truck was amazing. I’ll admit that was the main reason I went (who wouldn’t pass up on good food?) but afterwards … it was the people who made it special.’

So, c’mon out Friday night. With or without your bicycle. Eat a bit. Dance a bit. And be sure to bring your family and friends. They’ll be glad you did!

A 13-year resident of Morristown, Marcy can be found leading one of Bike and Walk Morristown’s walks from the Vail Mansion on Tuesday mornings at 8, posting, commenting and sharing on Facebook about the many organizations she loves and supports, madly trying to use the abundance of produce she gets from the Community Supported Garden (CSG) at Genesis Farm and attempting to organize her home.  Some of those efforts are more successful than others!
