But the entertainment already is shifting into high gear, with a summer calendar that includes Emmylou Harris, Yes, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Todd Rundgren and hometown hero Robert Randolph.

More than 120 acts stretching through June 2014 were announced on Wednesday.

Theater productions include Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and Green Day’s American Idiot. Entertainers run the gamut from Michael Bolton and Clint Black to Itzhak Perlman, Jason Alexander and Jim Belushi.

There is even an adult-only improv puppet show from the Henson company. (Behave yourself, Kermit!)

Tickets for most of these performances (below, marked by an asterisk) go on sale on June 24, 2013; see www.mayoarts.org or call 973-539-8008 for details.

By the end of this summer, MPAC expects construction to be completed on its new box office, new restrooms and an elevator to the balcony.
