Sunday usually is the big church day in Greater Morristown. But houses of worship also were going full tilt on this past Saturday.

In the shadow of the Morristown Green, the Presbyterian Church hosted a puppet-themed children’s concert by The Thirteen, a professional choir from the Princeton area:

Right next door, meanwhile, caped crusaders were crossing the finish line in a “Superhero” 5K to raise money for Liquid Church clean water projects in Africa and Latin America:

And a few blocks away, dozens of school kids were immersed in a day of art workshops at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.  More on that shortly.
