Join us on Saturday, May 11, at 11 a.m. when The Thirteen, South Jersey’s elite professional choir, will perform Music of the Fantastical in the Sanctuary of The Presbyterian Church in Morristown (57 East Park Place).  This event is specially designed for children featuring Menotti’s “The Unicorn, the Gorgon and the Manticore.” Children are invited to make puppets beforehand at 10:30 a.m., to be used during the performance. After the concert, a picnic lunch will be held in the church courtyard.

On Sunday May  12 at 9:15 a.m. at the Parish House of The Presbyterian Church in Morristown (65 South Street),  Reverend Joanne Miller will discuss part two of “It’s Not Just About What You Eat – It’s Also About What’s Eating You.”  Rev. Miller will use the book, Women, Food, and God,  by Geneen Roth, which offers insights and tools to help readers better understand their relationship with food, as a guide.  If you have trouble sticking to diets, eat too much or too little or are constantly thinking about what you will eat, or trying not to think about it at all, there may be emotional as well as spiritual reasons why this is so.   This series will enable participants to understand what underlies their obsession with food, help them begin to think differently about food, and begin to develop a more healthy relationship with it.   Participants may choose to read the book prior to the class, but it is not a prerequisite. Rev. Miller is a former Associate Pastor of PCM.   She is a Member Associate of The American Association of Pastoral Counselors and serves on the faculty of The Center for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy of NJ.  She is employed by Grace Counseling Center, where she works with children, adolescent girls and adults of all ages

Also on Sunday morning, come join us for two worship services at 9:15 and 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary of The Presbyterian Church in Morristown on 57 East Park Place.  Reverend Dr. David Smazik will lead the service with the sermon “Adding Emphasis.”   Child care is available in our Howard House facility next door.  Church school for ages 2 – 14 will be at 9:15 a.m. at the PCM Parish House, 65 South Street, Morristown.  Cantate Omnes will be singing at the 9:15 a.m. service.  If you’d like to join a choir without committing to weekly practices, here is your opportunity!  Join Cantate Omnes at 8:15 a.m. this Sunday, in the PCM Choir Room (57 East Park Place, enter at the rear of the building) to rehearse before singing at the 9:15 a.m. service.
