We’re used to writing about JCP&L chopping down trees–usually after a horrific storm–but on Tuesday the utility played Johnny Appleseed, distributing Buttonbush seedlings for Arbor Day at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morris Township.

A day later, JCP&L faced the last public hearing  on its controversial rate hike request.

On Thursday, we were invited to Jersey Central’s Morris Township headquarters to participate in a panel discussion about the changing media landscape.

Hosted by JCP&L and Leadership Morris, a program of the Morris Chamber of Commerce, the morning session featured some great questions from area business people. MorristownGreen.com joined representatives of NJ.com, the Daily Record, Patch, News 12 and WGHT radio.

My thanks to Ron Morano of JCP&L and Joe Nazzaro of Leadership Morris for their hospitality.
