For years, we have marveled at the spectacular good deeds of the Brothers Certner, Matt and Zach, who created the SNAP program in 2006 to give special needs children self-esteem and camaraderie through sports and art.

It took awhile, but the world beyond Greater Morristown finally is taking notice. CBS-2 in New York featured Zach–now a junior at Morristown High School– and Sue Kersten, the mom of an autistic child, in a segment geared to National Autism Awareness Month.

SNAP, in case you were wondering,  stands for Special Needs Athletic Programs.
