Take a trip around the world without leaving Morris County on Monday, March 4, 2013, when you join the festivities at the Morristown Rotary Club’s 11th annual Taste of Morristown.

It’s a lively night of food and fund-raising when more than 35 food establishments as well as wine, beer and spirits purveyors will set up tables in the ballroom of the Hanover Marriott on Route 10.

For the price of a $60 ticket, even goers can travel the room between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. and sample the foods of the United States, France, Italy, Latin America and Asia, to name just a few.

Everything from appetizers to entrees and desserts will be presented in “tasting” portions.

Live music, a tricky tray and a grand raffle featuring electronic and sports equipment will go on throughout the evening.

Tickets can be purchased at several locations throughout town including Kings, the UPS Store, Dublin Pub, J.C. Reiss and Gary’s Wine and Marketplace in Madison.

Tickets are also available online at https://www.morristownrotary.com/TasteOfMorristown/index/index.htmwww.tasteofmorristown.org and then the ticket page, or through the Rotary at www.morristownrotary.org

The Morristown Rotary is part of the international Rotary organization that was established in 1922 to promote fellowship and lend humanitarian assistance to those in need both domestically and abroad.

Some of the many Rotary projects that receive funding include the Morristown Neighborhood House, the Interfaith Food Pantry, Morristown Medical Center, literacy projects for local schools, the eradication of polio worldwide and bringing clean water to a variety of Third World countries.

In the recent past, the Morristown Rotary raised money to fund the purchase of shelterboxes to help victims of the hurricane in Haiti.
