‘Tis the season to ease off the throttle and make memories with loved ones…and so we shall.

A MERRY TUBA CHRISTMAS

They came from far and wide, rehearsed for a few minutes at Morristown High, and then premiered Merry Tuba Christmas on the Morristown Green. Here is a sampling, with Doug Rutan of the MHS faculty on the conductor’s podium:

 

THE CHRISTMAS SINGERS

For 25 years, this annual show has delighted listeners at the Morristown United Methodist Church with its blend of traditional carols and light-hearted holiday fare. This video mixes both. Featuring June Van Thoen, Wayne Walters, Patricia Ruggles and Darren O’Neill:

 

CAROLING WITH THE CROWD

After The Thirteen choir sang an eclectic program spanning a millennium of Christmas music, members mingled with the audience at the Presbyterian Church in Morristown for an informal round of carols. The audience was in fine voice:

SANTA ARRIVES ON THE MORRISTOWN GREEN

While his elves were finishing up their work at the North Pole, Santa set up shop on the Morristown Green for four weekends. Seems like only yesterday we were saying hello to him:
