Looks like they’re going to have to recycle the recycling awards dinner.

The Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority‘s annual event, scheduled for Friday, Nov. 2, at the Hanover Manor, has been postponed in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

Stay tuned for the rescheduled date.

The postponement will give you more time to polish your testimonials for former Star-Ledger reporter Larry Ragonese and former Daily Record reporters Fred Snowflack and Michael Daigle, who are being honored for their coverage of recycling over the years.

And you can continue accessorizing for the fashion show, which features ensembles made from recyclables.
