Two people are dead in Mendham Township after a tree fell on their vehicle Monday night during Hurricane Sandy, reports Jeff Paul, director of the Morris County Office of Emergency Management.
Mendham Township police responded at 7:30 pm to a 911 call. Emergency responders are still on the scene. No further details were immediately available.
“The Morris County Communications Center as well as all of the emergency response agencies throughout Morris County are all extremely busy taking 911 calls and the emergency responders countywide are responding to a number of incidents as a result of the storm. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available,” Jeff Paul said in a statement.
