We’ve been keeping a weather eye, as they say, on the path of Hurricane Sandy, and it looks like she will delay her potential visit to Morristown until after the free Fall Harvest Festival at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church on South Street, Morristown, on Sunday.
Light rain showers are predicted, so many of the activities may move inside the parish hall, but the event is still on, rain or shine, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Visitors from the Morris County 4-H bunny, Seeing Eye puppy and herpatology clubs will attend with their animals. Games, a maze, crafts, cookie decorating, hot dogs, Chef Melody‘s popcorn, caramel apples, face painting and temporary tattoos are planned. And if Sandy cooperates, there will be free pony rides.
So, if you’re a little anxious about cabin fever with the kids during the rainy days ahead, bring them to St. Peters to party before the storm.
