This Saturday, October 27, 2012, The Presbyterian Church in Morristown will have pumpkin painting in the churches Parish House (65 South Street, Morristown). Here you can paint your own special pumpkin just in time for Halloween. Please bring your own pumpkins. This event is fun for everyone! You can bring the whole family, bring a friend, even bring your neighbor. Everyone is welcome!This event is sure to be a great time for all!

This Sunday, October 28, 2012, Faith on Film continues here at The Presbyterian Church in Morristown. The Faith on Film series is offered on selected Sundays at 4:00 p.m. in the Parish House parlor (65 South Street, Morristown). It includes a film viewing followed by a pizza dinner and a discussion. This Sunday, the film “I Am” will be showing.

This 2011 documentary tells the story of successful Hollywood Director, Tom Shadyac, who, after a life-threatening injury, embarks on a journey to answer two fundamental questions: “What’s wrong with the world?” and “What can be done about it?”  Though Shadyac is known primarily for big box office comedies like, Ace Ventura, Bruce Almighty, this earnest, enlightening film includes interviews with many top theologians and philosophers. This film is not rated.
