Have a favorite historic site that is on the verge of ruin?

Now’s the time to speak up. Three Morris County agencies are creating their 2012 list of the county’s 10 most-endangered historic sites. Here is the announcement, with details on how to make a nomination:

FROM THE MORRIS COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY:

It’s time for the 2012 list of Morris County’s ten most-endangered historic sites.  Sponsored this year by the Morris County Tourism Bureau, the Morris County Historical Society, and the Morris County Trust for Historic Preservation, the list recognizes many of the places, both well-known and under the radar, that are threatened by development, vandalism, lack of regulatory protection, and other kinds of adverse effects to our quality of life.  Anyone may make a nomination.  Photos are required.  Please print out a form at www.mcthp.org, and send it by email, regular mail, or hand delivery as the form indicates.  The deadline is Friday, Nov. 16, 2012.  Questions: (973) 267-4717.
