In between helping an accident victim last week and carrying a woman from a burning building in April, Newark Mayor Cory Booker managed to find time for another heroic feat, rallying Democrats in Republican Morris County.
Booker spoke last month to a packed house at The Villa in Mountain Lakes, for the Morris County Democratic Committee’s reorganization and spring gala. Morristown First Lady Mary Dougherty, vice chair of the committee, said she was pleased by the big turnout.
