Authorities ask for information regarding death of Morristown High School freshman

prosecutor logoMorris County Prosecutor Robert Bianchi is asking the public for information as authorities investigate the March 28 death of a Morristown High School freshman.

In a message to parents, school officials identified the student as Lennon Baldwin of Morris Township.

Here is the statement from the Prosecutor:

Morris County Prosecutor Robert A. Bianchi, along with Morris Township Police Chief Dennis Reilly and Morristown Police Chief Peter Demnitz, announce the joint investigation into the death of a 15 year old student at Morristown High School. The incident took place in the student’s residence in Morris Township on March 28th. The incident is being jointly investigated by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, Juvenile Unit, Computer Crimes Unit, Morris County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Section and the Morris Township and Morristown Police Department’s.

 Our heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to the family of the student as well as the entire school community.

 The Morris School District has been very cooperative throughout the investigative process which is greatly appreciated.
