This year’s honorees will include: Allison Larena, outstanding arts advocate; Art League of the Chathams, outstanding arts organization; Investors Bank, outstanding corporation/businesses; Visual Arts Department, County College of Morris, outstanding arts educator/school; and  Julie Friedman, outstanding professional in the arts. Kevin Coughlin, editor of MorristownGreen.com, will receive special recognition.

Elizabeth Christopherson, CEO and director of the Rita Allen Foundation and former NJN executive director, will present the awards. The graduating high school seniors winning the arts council’s Elaine Ehlers Arts Scholarship and Eugenie Coladarci Arts Scholarship also will be announced.

The evening will conclude with a performance by a former Coladarci winner, Chelsea Friedlander. An award-winning soprano, she graduated from the Cleveland School of Music and just earned a master’s degree in voice at the Manhattan School of Music.

  2. Kevin,
Congrats on receiving recognition for creating a wonderfully creative and interesting online website! It contains more Morristown area information than can be found in any local newspaper or website.
