Wallscapes at ZEBU: A 21-painter salute in Morristown

Landscapes come in many forms: Pastels, oils, acrylics… even iPad prints. You can sample the permutations at Morristown’s ZEBU Forno café through Jan. 13.

The exhibition, Relational Invitational I, got off to a rousing start on Sunday, Dec. 4, with one of the better-attended openings we have seen in a long time.

Twenty-one artists are featured. Organizers Danielle and Chris Merzatta started with three painters: Julie Friedman, Ed Sprafkin and Dannielle Mick, and invited them to each invite three artists. Those artists in turn invited nine more.

If this profusion isn’t enough for you, a six-venue art walk is scheduled for Dec. 6 in Morristown.  Julie Friedman will show off her ArtSpace gallery on Dec. 8. And the Merzattas’  weekly drawing sessions resume at ZEBU on Dec. 11.
