Now that the weather has taken a more seasonable turn, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church will hold its Harvest Festival on Sunday, Nov. 13, rain or shine, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church on South Street at Miller Road.
The festival originally was scheduled for Oct. 30 but was postponed by an unusual snowstorm that hit the day before and knocked out power for thousands across northern New Jersey.
Harvest festival activities will include pony rides, 4-H animal exhibits, cookie decorating, pumpkin painting, crafts, face painting, bulb planting and games.
Any child who attends worship at St. Peter’s on Sunday will receive a wrist band for free admittance to the pony rides and pumpkin painting. Children without wrist bands will pay $3 per pony ride and $2 for a pumpkin to decorate. All other activities are free.
Sunday services begin at 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.
