Loretta Hagen put on a fine show Saturday at Zebu Forno in Morristown. Here is video of Loretta singing one of her own creations, You’ll Get There Faster, accompanied by her husband, Gary Hagen.

It’s a spunky little number about defying Father Time.

Fresh off a foot-stomping performance with her band at last month’s MorristownGreen.com Film & Music Festival, Loretta showed her mellower, acoustic side at Zebu.

She mixed songs from her first two albums with covers of tunes by Bonnie Raitt (Runaway, Angel from Montgomery) and Mary Chapin Carpenter (He Thinks He’ll Keep Her).  Loretta’s new CD should be completed by December. We’ll keep an ear out for it.
