On Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 7 pm, the Morristown &  Township Library will host an evening with Miriam Ascarelli. This event will focus on both The Seeing Eye and the woman behind this institution.

Miriam, who is a lecturer at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, will be joined by Charles Pat McKenna, Esq., an outreach specialist from The Seeing Eye Inc.

Pat will discuss the Seeing Eye and how dogs are trained to assist the visually impaired. He will be accompanied by a canine ambassador from the organization.

Miriam’s book will be on sale during the event for $16.95 (cash or check). Proceeds from the evening’s book sales will go to the Seeing Eye. Refreshments will be served.
