Gary Desjadon, who retired as Morristown fire chief in June, was honored at the July 19 council meeting. Gary started as a volunteer firefighter in 1979, joined the paid ranks in 1985 and was promoted to chief in 2007.

In this clip, he is congratulated by Mayor Tim Dougherty, First Assistant Fire Chief Victor France and Doug Reighard, Morristown Airport fire chief.

Our congratulations, too, and thanks to Gary for his years of service.
