“Our preliminary assessment does not suggest that the death was the result of a criminal act. The next of kin notification is still pending,” he said in a statement.

Morristown police responded to a report of an unconscious male resident at 7:34 a.m. today, July 16. The man, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at 7:43 am.

Several law enforcement agencies were involved in the investigation.
